When you iron them, try a spray starch. Not too much though. I find that steam helps get things like that straight too, so make sure your steam is on the iron if you don’t use starch.
Surprisingly, a small dab of pure honey gently rubbed into that wound will keep it from becoming infected and is “green.” By collar, do you mean an Elizabethan collar that keeps the cat from getting to the wound? If not, he should have one of those on until he heals.
Buy a citronella collar online. It is sound activated…..and just sparys a little citronella out under their necks (away form them). It works. You can buy them new and used online….and amazon.com. Or at petsmart…but they are cheaper at amazon.Training a dog how *not* to do something is much harder than teaching them to do something. Which is why alot of people resort to things that hurt the dogs..in these instances. The citronella collar really works..and doesn’t hurt them. And will really help if you live in a place where the dog is bothering other people, such as an apartment…or is driving you *so* nuts…you think about getting rid of it.This will work.
You can always get laser hair removal later. Don’t worry about it. If it’s a problem; try using a hair removal cream.
