I had one that wrapped around a pole when you hit it and then sprang back towards you (unwrapped) so you could hit it again. After using it for less than a week I noticed serious pain in my elbow and forearm. When I went to my doctor, he told me that since the device didn’t simulate the way a ball normally travels, I was altering my swing and doing damage to both my swing and my arm. That having been said, it wasn’t exactly the device that you linked to, so I guess my advice would be to check out reviews online and talk to your doctor immediately if you feel any discomfort. Hope that helps!

If used properly a german martingale can work very well. You have to remember that just because his head is down he needs to be riding back to front.work on getting him to stretch down a lot as well.I would only suggest riding in a german martingale once or twice a week or horse becomes to dependent on. Use in for part of your ride then try and maintain the frame by yourself.
